A Act One is a fellow privately-owned Minnesota-based company with a shared dedication to client-focused service, along with expanded offerings. Former A Act One clients have nothing to worry about—your policy coverages that are currently in place, active billing accounts, and the Eden Prairie location and phone number will all remain the same.
What A Act One clients will get from Alloy Insurance includes: additional support from 9 licensed agents, more ways to get in touch with your agent, 24+ insurance carriers to choose from, and an updated website with a self-service portal.
We are excited to be expanding our resources and offerings through the acquisition of A Act One! As always, feel free to reach out at any time to get in touch with our agents with any questions, comments, or concerns.

During this time of difficulty, the team here at Alloy Insurance remains available to you for all of your needs. However, due to a current significant increase in COVID-19 infections within our local community, we are temporarily not accepting in-person visits at our Sartell office. That said, we are grateful for the many other ways we can provide the same service to you, including phone calls, texts, emails, Direct Messages on social media, or even a fax—anytime, 24/7. And you can keep an eye on our website for further updates.
Alloy has always been on the forefront of technology, and now is a great opportunity to experience that for yourself. We want to reassure you that Alloy continues to be here for you and your family. Please contact us today with any questions or concerns you may have.
We will keep you updated as to when we are able to accept in-person visits once again—we are looking forward to that as much as anyone. Thank you for understanding, and remember, we’re just a click away. Stay safe, stay healthy!
Some of these may seem obvious, but if these mundane tasks don't make it to the to-do list, they probably won't get done. As you go through this list, think of a few other ways you can prepare your areas of coverage to ensure you get the maximum amount of protection.
For homeowner's insurance (and even those who rent), here’s something a lot of people don’t do but should—take inventory of your belongings and valuables in a way that can be used if you're ever in need of a claim due to theft, fire, or water damage. There are three keys to making this work for you:
Mike Feterl joined our team of licensed agents this summer, and we’ve been enjoying what he brings to the table, which is a whole lot of local know-how and community support. Mike was born and raised in South Dakota before moving to the Arlington community when he was a kid. He has lived there ever since, and is now raising his own family with his wife.
Mike also brings expertise to his role as insurance agent, and is dedicated to bringing the best coverage prices to small hometown communities throughout our area. He primarily works out of our Gaylord office, but has been spotted all over town this summer as he hit the ground running on his very first day. We’re lucky to have you Mike, welcome (officially) to the Alloy team!
From our recent Press Release.
ProGrowth Insurance Agency is Now Alloy Insurance:
Owner Renames Company to Better Reflect Company Capabilities
ProGrowth Insurance Agency began operating as Alloy Insurance on April 1st—which is no April Fool’s joke, and also no accident. Allan Karki, longstanding owner of the independent insurance agency that offers personal, commercial and ag insurance coverage by sourcing from multiple insurance companies has purposefully changed the name of his business—but not his ownership, staff, or offerings.
“For many years, I’ve wanted a company name that reflects the strength and advantage of our local insurance agency,” said Karki. “I finally found the right fit with Alloy, which illustrates how we personalize coverage from multiple sources to find both cost savings and quality protection for our customers.”
Indeed, the definition of an alloy is a substance created by blending two or more metallic elements in order to produce strength. A perfect example is steel.
From this name change, current and potential customers won’t experience any change beyond contact information, including a new website at AlloyInsured.com and new emails associated with the new domain. Ownership, staff members, phone numbers, and service offerings will remain the same at both the Sartell and Gaylord offices.
“This change is purely positive,” said Karki, who bought ProGrowth Insurance about 15 years ago from ProGrowth Bank in Gaylord, where the two businesses shared a building. “With our Gaylord office recently moving to its own building—which is literally right across the street—it felt like a natural time to make the name change we had been thinking about internally for quite some time.”
More information can be found online at AlloyInsured.com. Alloy Insurance will continue to operate in Sartell and Gaylord, providing free quotes for home, life, auto, business, farm/ag, and recreational insurance coverage.

—Tim M., Sauk Rapids, MN
"Alloy allowed us to roll all of our non-healthcare insurance needs into one cohesive plan. Not only did we save money, but we can now go to the same person for all of our questions, and that's priceless."
